Only one short kilometer from Pétrus, the 8 hectares sit proudly on a high plateau overlooking the village church. 90 Merlot and 10 Cabernet Franc are planted on the clay and gravel soil, with grapes hand harvested and fermented in small concrete vats. It is bottled unfiltered after its maturation in a mixture of new and old barriques for 18-20 months.
