With gadroon borders, the sides chased with ribbon-tied laurel leaf swags and rosettes, bird finial, on pedestal foot, one side engraved with the monogram REW

Specialist note

The initials are for Sir Rowland Edmund Winn, 5th Baronet (1739-85). This tea caddy reputedly came from the breakfast room at Nostell Priory which was destroyed by fire on 29th April 1980.
