Level: upper shoulder. Very damp stained capsule; bin-soiled and scuffed label; Pillet-Will on label, Etablissements Nicolas stamped label.
Most recently, two bottles, one dark and oxidised, the other medium-pale, with a bright, ruddy glow; whiff of mushrooms yet still fragrant; sweet, faisanté, better flavour than nose but not at its greatest. Last tasted June 2004. At best *****
