This reference 5004 in white gold is a particularly rare and exclusive specimen as fitted with the attractive and rare black dial. The desirability of this chronograph is furthermore enhanced by the presence of the original certificate fully confirming that it was mounted by Patek Philippe at the time of its manufacture. Research reveals that, since the launch of reference 5004 in the early 1990s, no more than 2 examples of this model in white gold have been accounted for with such a sought-after dial.

Reference 5004 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 312.
