The four-masted barque Carradale was launched in 1889. Built by A. Stephens & Sons, Glasgow and owned by J. & A. Roxburgh of Glasgow, she was registered at 2085 tons gross and measured 285 feet in length with a 39 foot beam. Sold to Norwegian owners in 1913, she was broken up in Bremen in 1924.
