With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and Attestation both dated 10 December 1989, Republic and Canton of Geneva Certificate of Origin for the watch movement dated 1 May 1989, commemorative medal, original invoice from Somazzi, Lugano dated 21 July 1992, original fitted presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with porcelain-white dial and black Breguet hour markers in 1989 and its subsequent sale on 18 October 1989.
Purchased by the present owner in Lugano in 1992, this "Officer" watch has never been offered in public before. It is furthermore preserved in very good overall condition.
The celebrated "Officier" model was launched to commemorate Patek Philippe's 150th Anniversary in April 1989. It was made in a limited edition of 2000 pieces in yellow gold, 150 pieces in white gold and 50 pieces in platinum.
It is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 123.
