Tasting note: Slight bottle variation, but mainly very good: deeply coloured; sweet, singed, cedary, fragrant bouquet; 'sweet, tanned and tannic'. Most recently: rather too sweet and caramelly; rich yet still very tannic. Last tasted Nov 2000. At best ***** M.B.
