The 2008 Margaux shows a rather restrained nose, but great reserves of ripe plum and currant fruit character on the palate. The texture is silky, floral and supple, with unexpected reserves of tannic strength. Extremely well-balanced. 87 Cabernet Sauvignon, 10 Merlot, and 3 Petit Verdot. Very good quality indeed.
