King George III (1738-1820), in blue and red General's uniform ('The Blues') with gold epaulettes, black stock, buff-coloured sword-belt, black cocked hat edged with gold, black cockade with gold stem and black rosette, wearing the breast-star of the Order of the Garter
on ivory
oval, 2 3/8 in. (60 mm.) high, gilt-metal mount within rectangular ebonised wood frame

with Edwin Bucher, Trogen.
