Acquired by the present owner after the renovation of the Spangen blocks, Rotterdam, in the early 1980's.

Specialist note

In 1918-1919 Van Doesburg designed the stained glass windows above the doors of the Rotterdam Spangen housing project - blocks I and V designed by the architect Jacobus Johannes Pieter Oud (1890 - 1963).
