HM3 inverted nickel-finished lever movement, 36 jewels, battle axe-shaped 22K pink gold rotor, anti-reflective sapphire crystal displaying part of the movement, oversized rotating date ring surrounding the movement and indicating the date by an arrow, one cone for hours capped by day/night indicator and second cone for minutes, hours and minutes transmitted via two ceramic balls bearings two red laser-cut hands, Starcruiser water-resistant-type case with white gold and titanium cloverleaf-head screws, screw down crown, anti-reflective sapphire crystal displaying two high-tech ceramic bearings efficiently transmitting power up to the cones and date wheel, 18K white gold and titanium MB&F double deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

MB&F, or Maximilian Busser and friends, is behind the present HM3 Starcruiser. To develop such a sophisticated and futuristic timepiece, it comes with no surprise that the bursting creativity of Maximilian Busser was associated with designer Eric Giroud and watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht, winner of the award for Best Watchmaker at the 2007 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve, to turn his imagination into a horological reality.

The HM3 Starcruiser impresses not only by its design and inverted three-dimensional movement with two cones, but also by its beautifully finished bridges and unmistakable 22K gold battle-axe shaped automatic winding rotor.

The present lot is in overall excellent condition and is for the first time offered at auction.
