GENOA, CIRCA 1760
Of bombé form, decorated to top, front and sides with a quatre foil motif against a quarter-veneered ground with cartouche-shaped borders, the sloping writing flap enclosing an interior fitted with shaped drawers and pigeon holes arranged around a central cupboard with mirrored door, above two short and two long bombé drawers conformingly inlaid sans traverse and with later pierced handles and escutcheons, above splayed feet terminating in brass sabots
45 in. (114 cm.) high; 47 in. (120 cm.) wide; 22½ in (57 cm.) deep
