Cal. 4030 nickel-finished lever movement, 31 jewels, mono-metallic balance, white matte dial, applied luminescent baton numerals, luminescent hands, three white subsidiary dials with black chapter rings, for 30 minute and 12 hour registers, constant seconds, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, bezel calibrated for 400 units per hour, screw down crown and pushers, screw back, case, dial and movement signed, stainless steel Rolex Oyster link bracelet and deployant clasp

Specialist note

Rolex introduced the first self-winding chronograph, reference 16520 in 1988 using the new caliber 4030. The present example conforms to the second series with the tachometer scale at 400 units per hour.
