Specialist note
The arms are for the marriage of Christian, Prince of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augensburg (1831-1917), of a senior branch of the Danish royal house and KG immediately after the wedding to Princess Helena Augusta (1846-1923), 5th child of Queen Victoria, at the Private Chapel, Windsor Castle on 5th July, 1866.
It is interesting to note that the Austrian marks on the inkstand were only introduced on 26th May, 1866.
