Designed as a series of graduated antique cushion, oval and octagonal -shaped rubies of closed-back setting, each within an old single-cut diamond surround, spaced by similarly-set smaller oval-shaped rubies and old single-cut diamond accents of foliate motif, mounted in gold, circa late 18th century, 43.0 cm long
Accompanied by report no. 57079 dated 12 August 2010 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the forty-eight rubies are of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating
