Gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, hinged within the nanga-form case, translucent green, white and red enamel decorated back over bark-finished background, centred by a gold stylised flower, the panels decorated with trophies of music, bark-finish decorated yellow gold soundboard pierced with the star and crescent symbols, curved neck with white, green and red geometrical decoration, nine gold strings, snake's head finial, gold tuning pegs, unsigned

The present watch is in the shape of a nanga, an early form of the ancient harp popular in Egypt, at the time part of the Ottoman Empire.
