Of rectangular oval section the mirrored body with pierced gold engraved overlay depicting parrots and flowering foliage, the front with each flowerhead set with cabochon rubies, opening to reveal three compartments with hinged lids, cylindrical sprung lipstick holder and comb compartment, circa 1940, 12.5cm by 7.5cm, import marks for silver, with black suede carrying bag frame and maker's card box
