lithograph, 1909, on tan oatmeal paper, signed and dated 09 in pencil, titled Sitzende and numbered 1., with wide margins, probably the full sheet, a horizontal fold across the sheet centre, some backed tears at the sheet edges, otherwise generally in good condition
L. 580 x 445 mm., S. 758 x 525 mm.

Specialist note

Krüger was unable to trace an impression of this extremely rare print and could not illustrate it in his catalogue raisonné of Pechstein's prints, instead relying on Fechtner's description of this large, early lithograph. Probably only a handful of impressions were printed, some of which according to Krüger were hand-coloured with a light blue wash.
