Each of typical shaped tapering oval form with loop handle, painted with bouquets below gilt dentil rims
8 5/8 in. (22.2 cm.) wide (2)

Possibly acquired by Lady Sarah Spencer (1838-1919) for 28 St. James's Place, and removed to Althorp circa 1923 by Albert Edward John, 7th Earl Spencer (1892-1975).

Specialist note

Claude-Antoine Tardy was a painter of flowers at Sèvres from 1757-95.
