Rectangular box, the hinged cover lacquered with a genre scene of an artist's studio, the interior of the cover inscribed 'Der Dorfgeiger. (Pistorius)', by Stobwasser, signed in the base 'Stobwasser'sche Fabrik in Braunschweig'; together with, a circular papier-mâché bonbonnière, the cover lacquered with a portrait of a boy in green fur-lined cap, by Stobwasser, signed 'St' and numbered 48; together with, two black papier-mâché bonbonnières
The rectangular box, 4 7/8 in. (124 mm.) wide; the circular boxes, 3¼ in. (82 mm.) to 4 in. (101 mm.) diam. (4)

The rectangular box: Margaret Baring (1868-1906), wife of Charles Robert, Viscount Althorp, later 6th Earl Spencer (1857-1922).
