Two rock crystal hand-seals, one silver-mounted matrix engraved with a crest within the the garter motto below an earl's coronet, the other with blank matrix; together with, seven other hardstone, wood and steel hand-seals, and a wooden-handled stamp with the garter motto below an earl's coronet
1 7/8 in. (48 mm.) to 3¼ in. (83 mm.) high
The Garter motto examples with crest is that of Spencer, probably for John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910), who was made a Knight of the Garter in 1864. (10)
