On winged paw and scroll feet, with shell and gadroon border, with supports for three silver-mounted cut-glass bottles, engraved under the central bottle with an inscription, the pen rests each later engraved with a cypher within the garter motto and below an earl's coronet

weighable silver 33 oz. (1,027 gr.)
The inscription reads 'Legacy of Jonathan Acklom Esqr deceased 1812 to his Grandaughter Esther Acklom'.
The later cypher is that of Frederick, 4th Earl Spencer.
