Cal. 17''' nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck regulator, silvered matte dial, applied gold Arabic numerals, four subsidiary dials for month and leap year, date, day and phases of the moon with constant seconds, plain circular case, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch with silvered dial and raised gold hour markers in 1942 and its subsequent sale on 1 October 1945. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe presentation box and outer packaging.

Reference 725 and the nearly identical reference 725/2 were in production from 1940 until around 1964. Until to date, less than 20 examples of this model are known to have survived.
