The family grouping in the present painting is repeated in another Holy Family with the Young Saint John the Baptist (Avignon, Petit Palais) which is attributed to the Master of Memphis (see P. Zambrano and J.K. Nelson, Filippino Lippi, Milan, 2004, no. R19, fig. 311).
