The rectangular top inlaid with various specimen marbles with a reeded and be-ribboned carrara marble border, on a lotus-carved stand with four turned tapering legs joined by stretchers, re-gilt
33½ in. (85 cm.) high; 47½ in. (121 cm.) wide; 21 in, (53 cm.) deep

Almost certainly acquired by Shalcross Fitzherbert Widdrington (1826-1917) when in Rome in 1860 and by descent at Newton Hall, Northumberland.
