The plain tapering sides crested and engraved with presentation inscription Felton, North-Moore Plate. Edward Horsley Widdrington Esqr. Donor 1723., and crest, the underside engraved with scratchweight 7-2

Edward Horsley Widdrington of Felton, Northumberland (b. circa 1695- 1762) and thence by descent to the Widdringtons of Newton Hall, Northumberland.
