The present Sea-Dweller, in exceptional overall condition, is further enhanced by its original box and outer carton box which still retains its Rolex sticker. Still almost 30 years after production, it is a modern classic with the appeal of a vintage watch. Launched in 1967, the Sea-Dweller, reference 1665, was the first wristwatch designed for use in saturation diving, fitted with a Rolex patent valve and guaranteed water proof to 610m. The present watch is from the early series and features the all white printed dial.
