With two frieze drawers on pierced scrolled end supports and plinth base, labelled 'Marsh and Jones, (late Kendell & Co) and indistinctly inscribed with workman's name 'N.Brooks(?)'

Specialist note

Marsh and Jones acquired the firm of John Kendell in 1864 and became Marsh, Jones and Cribb, manufacturers and retailers based in Leeds at Boar Lane and Basinghall Street and London's Cavendish Square.
