APPARENTLY UNMARKED, 19TH CENTURY
The centre set with an elongated octagonal rock-crystal panel, surrounded by other oval or shaped oblong panels, all within a lapis-lazuli set filigree surround, one panel engraved with initials 'A.R' below the Royal crown

The initials are those of Queen Adelaide of Great Britain (1792-1849), daughter of George I, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen and his wife Luise Eleonore, daugher of Prince Christian of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Adelaide married Prince William, Duke of Clarence in 1818 and became Queen Consort when Prince William succeeded his brother as King William IV in 1830.
