Lot 277 "I was very fond of Vincent and I bought one of my favourite pictures The Prodigal Son by Sarah Cecilia Harrison at the Christie's sale of some of their wonderful collection when he and Noeleen were moving from their house in Glenageary in the 80s. I subsequently got to know him and whenever he saw that picture in our house afterwards, I suspect he pined for it. He came to lunch one day and casually gave us a wonderful pair of small wooden figures, maquettes maybe, by Dorothy Cross, that I have always loved. He was a truly great collector".
