HELMUT NEWTON (1920-2004)
Lot 28 Four days and nights in August with Roselyne in a chateau, which must remain unnamed, in the west of France. The light in the house is strange. It is always very dark, even on the sunniest day. There are quite a few house guests here. We must wait before we take the photos in the big hall and the salons until everyone has left for the beach. Luckily the weather is hot and the house is deserted by 11am, except for the staff, and they are very discreet.
