Specialist note

A similar example, almost certainly by the same hand, is in the Schreiber Collection in the Victoria and Albert Museum, illustrated by Michael Archer, Delftware the Tin-glazed Earthenware of the British Isles, a Catalogue of the Collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum London, 1997, p. 82, no. A.14, pl. 11.
