Each with a later ajuba stone marble top on foliate and spiral turned column legs, joined by a concave sided platform with central foliate finial, on conforming feet, minor variations in size and construction

Possibly H.H. Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Balwant Singhji Bahadur, Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur (b. 1820, ruled 1825-1853).

Specialist note

The Palace at Deeg was built by the Jat dynasty of the Royal House of Bharatpur in the 18th Century, as a summer palace and water garden, during the reign of Badan Singh (ruled 1722-33). The dating of these tables suggests that they were acquired either during the reign of Balwant Singh (1825-53) or that of his son Sir Jaswant Singh (1853-93).
