Cal. 9828 nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, the silvered matte dial with applied white gold Arabic numerals, white gold feuille hands, subsidiary seconds, in oversized circular case with engraved No. 237/250 to the band, glazed display snap on back, platinum IWC buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

The "Portugieser Jubilee" reference 5441, a classic amongst collectors, was introduced into the market in 1993 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of IWC Schaffhausen. It was made in a limited edition of 1000 examples in stainless steel, 500 in pink gold and 250 in platinum.
