For two drawings of the present subject by Streeton, see Bonhams and Goodman (Melbourne), 7 August 2007, lot 4 (where incorrectly titled 'Rouen 1912'), and Leonard Joel (Melbourne), 16 April 2007, lot 127 (incorrectly titled 'View of Rouen 1907').

According to Mary Eagle, Streeton was in the Rochester area in 1904.
