Cal. 560 finely engraved nickel-finished lever movement, 24 jewels, one minute tourbillon carriage with mono-metallic compensation balance, visible beneath the dial at 6 o'clock, adjusted to 6 positions, silvered engine-turned dial with eccentric dial for time with polished chapter ring with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, fan-form sectors for 55 hour power reserve and retrograde 24 hour indicator, circular case with coin-edged band, sapphire crystal display back, case, dial and movement signed, with a platinum Breguet deployant clasp

In 1795 Abraham-Louis Breguet invented the tourbillon to counteract the effects of gravitational pull on clocks and watch escapements. Gravity has a negative effect on timekeeping with a movement running slower or faster depending on its position. This tourbillon is considered an engineering and design marvel and given its complexity only a limited number of watches are produced each year.
