The glazed case with break arch top with pineapple finials and beaded and gadrooned border, with fluted pilasters to the angles and tassel-hung drapery swag below the dial, the stepped rectangular base with recessed panels with running anthemion mounts, the white enamel Arabic dial inscribed à Paris with pierced gilt-metal criss-cross hands and blued steel pointers, with rolling moon phase and day of the week ring to the center, zodiacal symbols painted below, with outside calendar ring, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and count wheel strike on bell
