Original green cloth, spine lettered in silver (slight spotting to endpapers, stains to covers, crease to spine, spine ends gently bumped, boards slightly bowed); original dust-jacket (spine slightly sunned, a little chipped at head and foot of spine, discoloured along folds, slight creases to upper flap and edges, spotting to edges); housed in a red quarter morocco solander box. Provenance: P.G. Wodehouse (1881-1975; author’s presentation inscription on preliminary blank, and posthumous book label ‘From the Library of P.G. Wodehouse’).
