專家說明
In 2004, A. Lange & Sohne launched the 1815 Flyback Chronograph. It was the first chronograph wristwatch outside of the Datograph family. To differentiate the timepiece from the Datograph, the watch featured a flyback complication and the exclusion of a date. The 1815 Flyback Chronograph also had a pulsation scale which added the perfect amount of asymmetry to the concise dial.
The present lot, Reference 401.031, is a first generation timepiece and is distinguished by the black and white dial contrasting against the rose gold case and hands. Additionally, the guilloche subsidiary register hands are thermally-blued steel. The 1815 Flyback Chronograph is often favored by collectors over the Datograph due to the excellent proportions with a 39.5mm case thin profile at 11mm. The timepiece is powered by inhouse Caliber L951.0 that has incredible hand-finishing and three-dimensionality, completing the mighty work of functional art.
