Oblong folio (460 x 570mm). Paper watermarked '1804' throughout. Hand-coloured engraved additional title, 40 hand-coloured aquatints, plate XXXI is in Tooley's presumed first issue, reading 'Hunting Jackals' (additional title lightly creased and with top margin strengthened on verso and a few repaired marginal tears, letterpress title faintly soiled and creased, some faint unobtrusive occasional spotting). Modern red half morocco by Riviere, gilt edges, with two original hand-coloured wrappers mounted onto front and rear pastedowns (extremities lightly rubbed).
