專家說明

Whilst the second of these drawings has previously been identified as the head of Christ engraved in Hayley's Life of Romney, it is quite different from that engraving and stylistically appears to be earlier in Romney's career. It was perhaps intended to be a head of King Lear, or could come from an antique source.
