專家說明

GEORGES FOUQUET
Succeeding his father’s business in 1895, Georges Fouquet was determined to be at the forefront of contemporary
jewellery design. Immersed in the development of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movement, the house is well-known for creating some
of the most powerful and iconic jewels of its time. Fouquets’ entire jewellery production is characterized by continuous alliances with different artists, such as the interior designer Eric Bagge and Jean Lambert Rucki, strongly influenced by Cubism and close to Modigliani and Soutine. Thanks to these synergies, in the 1920s, Georges Fouquet turned his interest to geometric shapes and colour
contrasts, using different gemstones, such as the frosted rock crystal, onyx and coral used in this beautiful sautoir.
