As a recognised University College of Sanctuary, Somerville College provides a welcome, safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students and academics who have sought sanctuary as a result of being displaced, or endangered by conflict, persecution, climate change, or the violation of their human rights. The Sanctuary Scholarships provide a guaranteed pathway to Oxford for bright students from sanctuary-seeking backgrounds. The cost of a Sanctuary Scholarship for one year is £15,000.
