專家說明

Whilst no record has been found of the 'N. Todd' or 'CS' who stamped one of these chairs, it is worth noting some of the subtle details of the frame, such as the key-pattern carving, a feature employed by Thomas Chippendale and displayed in a drawing attributed to Chippendale Jnr for Harewood House (J. Goodison, The Life & Work of Thomas Chippendale Junior, London & New York, 2017, p. 67, pl. 62).
