專家說明
Vases of this elegant shape, with the body and neck subtly fluted with eight slightly concave facets, dating from the Yongzheng period (1723-1735) through the Guangxu period (1875-1908), both in transparent and opaque glass, and in various colors, are represented in the Andrew K. F. Lee Collection and illustrated in Elegance and Radiance: Grandeur in Qing Glass, The Art Museum, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, 2000, pp. 112-29, nos. 15-23. Two of the vases, nos. 19 and 20, are of deep ruby-red color and have Qianlong marks. See, also, the similar Qianlong-marked ruby-red vase from the Hugh W. Greenburg Collection sold at Christie's New York, 18-19 September 2014, lot 1138.
