[Through works like these], I allude to atomic war and other global and national conflicts that represent a constant threat of violence around the world. The media, including radio, television, broadcast, and print journalism cannot ignore this phenomenon or bury their heads in the sand like ostriches given the sheer evidence.
For this reason, the arts become a reflection of our times, and the artist a witness to humanity.
