專家說明
Ernst August Leuteritz was employed as a designer in 1836 and from 1849 to 1886 he held the post of chief artistic director and top modeller at Meissen. See Robert Röntgen, The Book of Meissen, Atglen, 1996, p. 206, fig. 320, for a comparable vase with similar enamelled decoration developed by Leuteritz in the mid 19th century in response to renewed interest in the Renaissance style of Limoges enamel decoration. A related pair of vases was sold, Christie's, Amsterdam, 16 February 2006, lot 991.
