專家說明
Built in the Italianate style by Mariano Unzué with his wife Mercedes Baudrix in the 1880s, the Unzué Palace became the permanent residence of Juan Domingo and Eva Perón, and Evita died there on 26th July 1952. Damaged in the 1955 revolution to overthrow Peron, the Unzué Palace was demolished in 1958 to erase all traces of its last occupants and stop it becoming a place of pilgrimage to Evita.
