Salvador Murillo (1841-after 1900)

For two larger variants see Christie's, New York, 29 Nov. 1983, lots 6 and 7. Murillo was a contemporary of José Maria Velasco and studied with him at the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico, 1865-1870.
