lithograph in colours extensively hand-coloured with watercolour, 1940-41, on wove paper, from the edition of approximately fifty, printed by W.S. Cowell, Ipswich, published by the artist, with small to narrow margins, the colours fresh, in very good condition, framed

Acquired from the above by the present owner in 2015.

Apart from one complete set of the Submarine Lithographs, sold at Christie's South Kensington (4 April 2007, lot 77, £102,000), only one other impression of Ward Room I has appeared at auction in the last thirty years.
